Project Description

  • Accessibility Checker is a custom feature to check accessibility requirements in SharePoint Portals.
  • Use JQuery in client side to validate each page against W3C, WAVE, Achecker or any other custom validator.
  • Currently working for WSS3.0 and MOSS, SharePoint 2010 version coming soon.

Installation


Download the latest version, unzip it and run "setup.exe".
This install the AccessibilityChecker Solution on your SharePoint server.

Once the solution is installed, activate Accessibility Checker feature in the Site Collection features:

Now a new link will appear in the Site Collection Settings:

Using the Accessibility Checker link you will have access to the Accessibility Checker layout, select the publishing site to check your publishing pages accessibility against W3C.

Each one of the results is a link to the W3C or WAVE result page.
